The Green Bay Packers

What can I say about the Packers. I have learned alot about football by watching it with my husband for years. I knew in my spirit that it was going to be the Packers turn to shine so when they won last night I wasn't to surprised.

Some say that the Packers are God's favorite because of the big G. God doesn't have any favorites. God loves us all know matter what. In the interviews with the Packers sometime before the game you heard their heart about how they feel about God. That is important to God that we aren't ashamed of Him.

After the game they were talking to the different Packers and one of them said that they had faced adversity all year. The difference is they kept on keeping on. When one of there star players was out of the game early they could of said it's over now. They didn't do that though they just stuck together and got the job done.

It's the same way in the church. We as the body of Christ are suppose to stick together and get the job done. We all have adversity in this life but how we handle it is what is important.

God says in His Word that No weapon formed against us prospers. Even after the Bears lost to the Packers the word on the street from Bear fans was the Packers are going to lose. I believe that worked on the Packers behalf. Those Christian Packers knew that no weapon formed against them would prosper.

Yes I am sure there were Christian's on the other team. It all depends on what you are believing for. I have heard the Packers glorify God on camera often. After they won the game one of the players said To God be the Glory. That my friend is music to God's ears. Thankfulness gets God listening to us.

As far as the injuries that happened on both teams last night God will take care of them. By Jesus stripes we are healed.

So what are you going through today? Take an example from the Packers. Keep on pressing on. If you  truly believe in your heart that God says you win you will. You have God's Word on that.

January 27th Butch has been retired two month’s now. It’s nice. We had a couple winter days where even he was glad he didn’t have to go out...
