Thanksgiving 2022

 We certainly miss some of the stores that have closed down. Thanksgiving was yesterday and I was just telling Kim how we would put the turkey in the oven and head for K-Mart. She didn’t remember it. Butch reminded me she was just a little girl at the time. I am sure Jodi would remember though I will have to ask her. 

It was much fun. K-Mart had their blue light special and you just waited for the announcement and what they were advertising to see if you needed it. We always used their layaway program. 

So many other stores we miss too. Shopko, Montgomery wards, sears to name a few. How times change. 

No matter what changes in your life we have the promise God doesn’t. He is the same yesterday and forever. We have so much to be thankful for in this world. I am so grateful for God and His promises.

Where are the Joshua and Caleb's

 In the Bible Joshua and Caleb were the two spies who brought  back a good report and believed that God would help them succeed while the rest of them the ten said there are giants in that land and we can't go in and take it. Joshua and Caleb entered the promise land the others didn't.

In this time of the great awakening we have to decide what our part is and what we should be doing. We need God and we need truth on what is really happening. 

We have learned that the news media hasn't told the truth for many many years. In the last couple of years however it got much worse because it was there job to divide the people. Did they succeed? Yes but the percentage is low. 

The Bible says the government will be on His shoulder's. We were never meant to be so controlled and programed by man. Everything we do in this world is controlled by government and laws. If you don't believe that try going fishing or hunting without a license. Drive a car with no license's plate on it or no driver's license while holding a child on your lap. The list goes on and on. Everything in this world cost us money. We work just to pay taxes, health insurance, life insurance, property taxes you get the picture.

We have elections and the person we vote for doesn't get in we just say oh there will be another one in four years. Folks that is as Jesse would say that is stinkin thinkin. 

We have learned so much in the last few years. The biggest is that people we thought were working for our better welfare ARE NOT. Some of us have learned much much more. As Robin said people have no idea how evil this world is. We have learned more then I care to know. 

Right now the decision is ours. Are we going to be a Joshua and Caleb or will we be of the other ten that said were afraid of the giants. 

God doesn't need a election to put the rightful president where he belongs. He said so Himself.

They have proven whether or not you believe it that we haven't had any fair elections for a very very long time. Elected officials (cause there are only a few we can call leaders) should only get to hold one or two terms just like the president then out. Our world might of been a much brighter place and easier to live in. Only God knows. 

The great awakening is here. An awaking that we need God more then ever and a wake up call to us Americans that we need to stand up and be heard. It's happening. Many patriots all over this world and other countries are standing up and being heard. We have heard so much good that is going on all over the earth. These patriots are also spending their own money as they take America and our freedoms back.  

Since 2020 and what we let them get away with we have been under the worst of the control. What happen in 2020 was also meant to divide us. Did it happen? Yes it did. People that voted for "the Biden" wouldn't talk to those that didn't. People that got the jab came against those that didn't. Then there is the conspiracy theory. Yes there are millions of us out here. We have been following lots of truth that is out there. BUT the prophecies coming from God some of them are info we already had. God is absolutely good.  

So if you have lost some people along the way its okay. We think of the many we have helped. I have people I check in with just because they are fearful of what it looks like out in the world. It never is like it looks and even God said so. The truth will set you free. 

So what are you doing in all of this? Are you with the patriots? Are you standing for freedom? Are you just waiting for another election? Are you letting others do all the standing and fighting? Its never to late to get involved. Praying and praising is most important. 

We are excited about what we know. What God is doing using all of us is so exciting. As Elvis's song My Way says and now the end is near and God did it His way. There final curtain is here.

Then there's Christmas as was said in an old prophecy by Kim Clement. I am excited. Tree is going up end of this month. 

If God be for us who can be against us. We have also learned that things aren't always as they appear. Go down the rabbit hole and make sure its truth. 

Remember God says don't be moved by what we see or hear.

Zoe

 Our Zoe isn’t feeling well. She has medication now but last nights first dose wasn’t a lot of fun. We literally pried her mouth open stuck it in there and then had to hold it closed so she would chew it. 

Makes me think of Jodi when she was a young child. She had to have her eyes checked and the doctor wanted us to put eye drops in before appointment. I had to call grandma for backup. I don’t even recall right now if we were successful or not. 

Zoe can’t tell us how she is feeling. She keeps wanting to go outside thinking she has to go. A dog that only goes out three times a day is wanting to go out way to often. 5AM here and I put her out the patio cause that was the door she was at. Bring her in then find her at the front door. 

When we got our first dog Ali many years ago she was like that as a puppy. She would be at the patio door go out come in and go to front door to go out. She was having a ball enjoying both font and back. The things we remember. Good memories. 

So I sit here asking the Lord how can I give her medication today. Butch is at work so I am on my own. She is refusing food or it would be so simple. She did drink water today so things are looking up. 

Date night but not to sure we can leave her alone. We put her in a kennel at home when she was a puppy and came home to a wet dog and the bottom of the kennel all scratched up. She doesn’t go in kennels anymore. Well she does for a short time maybe when she gets groomed. I normally don’t make her wait. I do errands then wait in there parking lot. I am a good dog mom I take her early in the morning so she is basically there an hour or just a tad longer. What we don’t do for our doggies. I try to remember she is just a dog. Our animals touch our hearts. She is older so I gave her permission to go join Ali and Oliver in doggy heaven anytime she wants. Yes she will be missed but she will have more fun there.

I am thankful for Jesse DuPlantis letting us know in one of his felt like real visions he saw the dogs in heaven. Animals not just dogs. God is so good. 

Remembering Record Players

Remember when we put a record on the player and it would start to sound scratching? We would go and pick up the needle and blow the dust off. Today while playing one of my most favorite David Ingles CD's it sounds scratching. I suppose somewhere there is dust just can't see it. I blew it out with the spray air with no changes. Could my CD be wore out? Absolutely!!!

I have been around long enough that I have seen all the devices we have played music on. Reel to reel, 8 tracks, record players, cassette and CD players. The music never changes but the device has making it sound so much better. Most people probably play music on their phone. I do that too but there is nothing like the sound of my stereo. I blew out one sub woofer and right now I am minus some little speakers I need to replace. I love the music always throughout our home. We have a Boise speaker also. Like that to. Whatever you listen to in your home is what fills the atmosphere. I even leave the music on when gone away sometimes. There is so much Christian music to choose from we are without excuse saying there is nothing I like. 

When watching a hallmark movie the plot was about music being a healer. Yes lots of truth in that statement. Praising God with music will bring God on the scene and quicker then anything else. God loves our praises. He says if we don't praise Him the rocks will.  

In this movie it didn't show it but it looks like the man had a stroke. He couldn't move his hands or talk. In his earlier days I think it was a trumpet he played. There wedding anniversary was coming up on valentines day and all the wife wanted was to here him say I love you to her. The woman worked on to me the most important part first which was his hands. She played piano music. He just listened. The ending was on valentines day they went to this bar where his band was playing. He got up played his trumpet and told his wife I love you. I know just a movie but I have witnessed so many miracles in my life time that I know this to be true.

The Bible clearly says Jesus took it all. We believers already got it. Everything. In this world sickness or and disease is just common to folks. Just go get a medicine and stay on it your whole life. Get a second one third one whatever you need. This is totally not God's will and shouldn't be ours either. We have been talked into things to easily. The world is changing though for the good and its gonna be great. Strokes and everything else will be a thing of the past. Technology is out there and we are finding it out.   

You know what though with everything in our world that has changed because of technology or for other reasons God never changes. The Word says He is the same yesterday today and forever. What a promise. 

Now as our world is going to change to Quantum everything that will be interesting to see. God is the creator of technology. We are about to see so much more that has been kept from us.

Memories

 As I am cleaning my kitchen this early morning I decide to move the hutch. We have had the hutch since McRae place. In fact it was bought to match the woodwork there not here. As I was moving it I was recalling the day that we bought it. I can still see us putting pads on the bottom of it as it laid in the back of our truck. It was and still is a very nice piece of oak furniture. When we moved here I put it in the basement thinking it wouldn't match with the maple wood. One day I said to Butch I miss it in the dinning room lets bring it up. It looks just fine where we placed it. I have things in there our girls made in High school and crystal that I received as presents from Butch and the children.

The good old times. But yet all times are good. I miss them days of course but were in new days now. Everyday is a blessing. Waiting to see what our God will do. He has always taken care of all of us whether we live in the same home or not. Jodi and Andrew are happily making plans to build there new home. Kim is quite content in her home with her doggies. 

God is a good God! Actually God is Awesome! I pray others that don't know Jesus as there Savior & Lord could know what it means to have God take care of you. 

 

Our Family

 Wow its been to long since I posted. What's new? Lots. Its February of  2022 and the weather is starting to warm up. By that I mean temperatures aren't in the minus anymore. We always love the days getting longer. It will be spring before we know it.

Let's do some catch up. Kim moved in with us in the fall of 2020. I always love that my girls know where home is when they need it. Wherever Butch and I live is always there home too. She stayed just over a year. She bought a cute home on the west side of Green Bay. She loves it. This isn't the first time she thought about living in the neighborhood she was a child in. She has a whirlpool tub and dangles that in front of me. One of these days I will use it. Her home is actually in the neighborhood where she grew up. She lives right across the street from the park that the four of us use to ride bikes to. Butch and I have been buying spec homes so long that we never have a chance to have grown trees. The leaves falling in Kim’s new neighborhood are so pretty. I do miss that a bit. 

Our next home may not be a spec home. We have been making a list of things we want and we are willing to look at existing homes to get what we want. Our home on the west side of Green Bay has a three season porch on the front. I still miss that. So that is a given in our next home. If we build a home we want the McRae home floor plan pretty much. I always wanted a whirlpool tub and may have that the next time. We want two fireplaces - a wood burning one and a gas one. I myself love the smell of the wood fires we have in the driveway but I don't like the bugs. We have a nice size garage but we need a bit bigger too.

Jodi and Andrew still haven't started building but are talking about it now. They did build a pole building on the property and Andrew with Butch's help sometimes has been working and getting it ready. I am excited for them. 

When we moved in 2017 to this home I decorated and redecorated. I wasn't use to having the dark wood I always had oak wood. We finally have our home decorated very nicely so we are content here till we move again.  

We have had our church family over for a couple of parties and we have been to some of there's. We enjoy getting together with them and not just on Sundays. Thank You Father for leading us to all of them.
