Cute sayings

Over the years I have come across some cute sayings and thought I would share them with all of you.

"A clever woman sees through her husband but a wise woman sees him through." The two become one flesh so why wouldn't you want to see your husband through.

"Always say good-bye when leaving someone because good-bye is a contraction for God be with you."
I know you have heard different things over the years on why you shouldn't say good bye to people but this is good now you are really saying God be with you.

Also when someone sneezes we are all quick to say God bless you. Since God blessing you means prosperity I have been learning to say to that person "you are empowered to prosper.

"Marriage is the death of two wills and the covenant of one." Agreement in marriage is so very important.

"Never make a permanent decision in a temporary situation." Temporal means subject to change. So if things aren't going good for you don't make any quick decisions. Wait because it is only temporal.

"Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow it empties today of its strength." We all know that it doesn't pay to worry. Wow if we could get paid to worry. Give your worries to the Lord.

"Let your pillow be you conscience." This one speaks for itself. When you lie down to sleep at night are you okay with everything you did that day? Did you speak words of love as you should? Did you show respect to those around you? Did you smile at the person that needed one? The list goes on and you know what I mean. We as Christians are suppose to always do the right thing. As long as we walk in love we can have a clear conscience.

You are loved, you are empowered to prosper, you are healed and you are redeemed. Have a great day!

What a day

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see. When He takes me by the hand and leads me to the promise land what a day what a day that will be.

Yes we have a promise land in heaven if we have Jesus as our Saviour.

We also have a promise land here on earth we just have to make sure we take it. You have heard it before but I will never stop saying it. Jesus died and gave us that promise land in heaven and on earth. Our promise of salvation, health, prosperity and every good thing that goes with it.

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."1Cor 2:9 My friend, God has prepared an amazing future for you, don't focus on your challenges today, look towards His goodness & grace, & begin to expect blessings, increase, favor, promotions & good success ...in Jesus' name. Amen!

Don't let the devil steal it from you. Claim it today.

Purgatory

Hearing that word purgatory a couple of times in the last few days has made me think of my childhood growning up. In some faiths that word is used  more often than it should be. It can be a tormenting word as a child.

For one thing it refers to purgatory as being a holding tank for people after you die. The Bible says differently.

The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You are born, you live, you die and if you are a born again believer you go home to be with the Lord.

If your not born again then hell will be your home. Some people say how can a loving God send anybody to hell. God for one doesn't send anyone to hell we send ourselves by not believing. Hell wasn't created for humans it was created for the devil and his demons. As sad is it is though some humans will end up there.

In the book of Romans the first chapter it talks about how God put in all us a knowing to believe in Him. It says that because of creation we all know there is a God. So if God gave us all the ability to believe in Him then we need to take it to the next step. John 3:3 says to be born again or saved.

So getting back to the purgatory thing. If God said that we are saved by grace in Eph. 2:8 then why would anybody think that after we get saved and we are cleansed why would we believe we have to go someplace else before we can get to God.

Purgatory means the condition or process of purification or temporary punishment in which, it is believed, the souls of those who die in a state of grace are made ready for Heaven. Notice the word believed.  It says that it is believed the souls of those who die in a state of grace are ready for Heaven. It doesn't say that it is true. I think someone just misunderstood the definition.

If  God created purgatory which He didn't since the Bible doesn't back that up. If He did though that would really mean we could all live anyway we want to on this earth then we die and go to so called purgatory where we can get cleansed and go on to heaven.

If that was true then it would mean everybody goes to heaven. The Bible says that wide is the gate that leads to destruction and narrow is the gate that leads to life. As Christians we have instructions that we follow according to the Bible. When we follow them the narrow gate will belong to us. The unsaved are the ones that will be punished. Course that still doesn't mean that purgatory is the place they will go they will die and go right to hell.

So if you believe in purgatory I pray you find the truth. My guess is that thought torments some of you also. Ask God to show you the truth.

Forgot my Purse

The other day when Butch and I and Willa left home, I got a little bit away from home and I realized I forgot my purse. Not a big deal came...
