Did you know that a medical study group says that when you reach a certain age that if you consider yourself old your thinking process causes your body to release a chemical that actually causes aging.
Psalm 103:1-5, Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit; Who crows you with loving kindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
There are many promises but lets look at so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. What a promise. I choose to walk in that promise instead of the way of the world. Do a study on the eagle and find out what they do at midlife it will bless you. That is what God has for believers.
This promise is only for believer's though. Are you a believer? Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Many think that we all got Jesus at confirmation but that is so untrue. And of course there are those that think good works get us to heaven. Wrong again. When I had confirmation before I was born again I did just what the class taught me I didn't make a heart felt commitment till later in my life. It's all about Jesus. Not works or anything else.
Through one man's (Adam) sin's we all became sinners. Through one Man's (Jesus) sacrifice we were made righteous.
Many think because Jesus is God that it was easy for Him when He came to earth. Jesus didn't come to earth as God He came as a man. Everything Jesus did in the new testament He did in His flesh trusting God. He didn't have special power because He was God. He had to die as a man for us or it would of never mattered. The pain he felt dying on the cross for you and me was awful. He felt pain just like we would if we were to hurt ourselves.
Heads up: In the gospels He did miracles. Most of the time He spent rebuking the devil from people. That should tell you that you have a enemy out there.
Of course when He rose from the dead it is a whole different story. He gave us the power that He received after He rose again.
The Bible is packed full of promises for every situation we would ever go through.
I learned a long time ago about the words we speak with our mouth. Also the thoughts that come to our minds.
The Bible says the power of life and death is in OUR tongue. It says we have the mind of Christ. We have to be careful what we say. We have to be careful not to speak everything that comes to our mind also. The devil is behind our thoughts. What we do when he speaks to us if utmost important.
Some time back I heard a young woman preaching about just that. She said that a couple times a day the devil would speak negative to her. She learned to come back at him and say no that isn't my thought. That sermon blessed me. I heard a singer say don't repeat everything that comes to your mind. Once you speak it you have put the words in the air.
Did you know that a medical study group says that when you reach a certain age that you consider yourself old your thinking process causes your body to release a chemical that actually causes aging.
So be careful your life will go the way of your thoughts. Also be careful because what you allow in your life (Evil) your in agreement with it. And you certainly don't want that. You have to get rid of it.
Your personality is what others know about you. Your character is what your wife and God know about you. The husband is the builder. The wife is the watcher. Man called to be the leader but most of the time the women are more spiritual leaders. Women created out of men. Rib equals side - side equals for advice.
