Deer Hunting 2019

Last year Butch and Andrew hunted on there new land. This year though they were more set up for it. Butch shot 2 doe's and Andrew is still hunting waiting for his prize buck.

On opening Saturday they didn't get anything. Yes the seed offering was sowed and my faith prayer was in. So Saturday night I did my routine again and believe for the deer to come and after shot it wouldn't wander where they had to be trailed. Yup God did it as I just said.

I was sleeping Sunday morning and I awoke to a pop sound. It wasn't a gun shot but its like the Lord said he just shot it. I texted him and said did you get it? He said how did you know I just shot 2. I told him I heard the shot and would explain when he got home. Now since we no this is impossible that I heard the shot he didn't wait til he got home he called and asked me to explain. I told him what happen as I wrote above. He told Andrew our Son in law and he shouldn't of. Andrew doesn't understand the things of the Lord yet. In fact a lot of Christians don't understand that.

One year when Butch was hunting on the property Jodi and Andrew live on now for a bit yet I was talking to Jodi on the phone. She heard a shot and said that sounded close. I texted him and said did you get it and yes he did. It's fun toying with my honey.

Butch likes the hunting part but doesn't care so much for the cutting and cleaning part. He was home by noon and let the cleaning and cutting begin. By dinner time 2 does skinned and one cut and bagged. The other one head off and laying in pieces on the table to be cut on Monday. We got her done. Some we made hamburger, some is being processed for Hot dogs, sausage, and brats, and some we gave away.

Deer hunting over for another year? Andrew came up empty handed for hunting. He is a bit picky about what he wants to shoot at.

Christmas time 2019

It's Christmas time again. Of course the gift of Jesus goes all year long. We just started December.

After years of having open house for Christmas and inviting everyone over we are going to not do it this year. Last years party found me with no time to visit because I was so busy.

So this year doing something different. The first bigger gathering is this Saturday. 12 people unless I invite at the last minute. Someone that can't come Saturday is coming Friday night for chili. So Christmas gatherings actually start Friday.

I am looking forward on Saturday to be able to sit, relax and visit since its such a small crowd. Menu's are simple for me. I enjoy my time in the kitchen and making healthier food. The menu is of course Tenderloin. I am going to make a venison tenderloin too. Then just simple things like coleslaw, angel eggs, cranberries, pineapple upside down cake. I am making a chocolate cake for Friday so there will be leftovers.

Second party was with a few neighbors with kids. I served pizza. It went well.

I am done with them though. My husband is always telling me its not my job to get the neighbors together. I am going to listen this time. Christmas is on Friday next year so three day weekend.

The house is decorated so pretty. I love the lights. This will be our 3rd Christmas in this home. Butch decided he didn't want to bother with putting up the outside lights. That's okay I put candles in the windows.

What about Christmas? I have seen many. Only 36 of them though where I have a personal relationship with Jesus. Jesus is the gift that never stops giving. I pray you know Him today. The bible says you can't get into heaven without Him.

I watched a movie called the Christmas jar today. It was a good movie. The true meaning of Christmas. Goggle it on you tube make yourself a bowl of popcorn and enjoy.

Butch and I are not close with our siblings. So our Christmas doesn't include them. That is so sad. But that is there choice not ours. I wish them all the best.

So lets not forget about why we truly have Christmas and open the best gift you will ever get and that's Jesus.

Blessings.......

Be Careful

Did you know that a medical study group says that when you reach a certain age that if you consider yourself old your thinking process causes your body to release a chemical that actually causes aging.

Psalm 103:1-5, Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit; Who crows you with loving kindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.

There are many promises but lets look at so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. What a promise. I choose to walk in that promise instead of the way of the world. Do a study on the eagle and find out what they do at midlife it will bless you. That is what God has for believers.

This promise is only for believer's though. Are you a believer? Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Many think that we all got Jesus at confirmation but that is so untrue. And of course there are those that think good works get us to heaven. Wrong again. When I had confirmation before I was born again I did just what the class taught me I didn't make a heart felt commitment till later in my life. It's all about Jesus. Not works or anything else.

Through one man's (Adam) sin's we all became sinners. Through one Man's (Jesus) sacrifice we were made righteous.

Many think because Jesus is God that it was easy for Him when He came to earth. Jesus didn't come to earth as God He came as a man. Everything Jesus did in the new testament He did in His flesh trusting God. He didn't have special power because He was God. He had to die as a man for us or it would of never mattered. The pain he felt dying on the cross for you and me was awful. He felt pain just like we would if we were to hurt ourselves.

Heads up: In the gospels He did miracles. Most of the time He spent rebuking the devil from people. That should tell you that you have a enemy out there.

Of course when He rose from the dead it is a whole different story. He gave us the power that He received after He rose again.

The Bible is packed full of promises for every situation we would ever go through.

I learned a long time ago about the words we speak with our mouth. Also the thoughts that come to our minds.

The Bible says the power of life and death is in OUR tongue. It says we have the mind of Christ. We have to be careful what we say. We have to be careful not to speak everything that comes to our mind also. The devil is behind our thoughts. What we do when he speaks to us if utmost important.

Some time back I heard a young woman preaching about just that. She said that a couple times a day the devil would speak negative to her. She learned to come back at him and say no that isn't my thought. That sermon blessed me. I heard a singer say don't repeat everything that comes to your mind. Once you speak it you have put the words in the air.

Did you know that a medical study group says that when you reach a certain age that you consider yourself old your thinking process causes your body to release a chemical that actually causes aging.

So be careful your life will go the way of your thoughts. Also be careful because what you allow in your life (Evil) your in agreement with it. And you certainly don't want that. You have to get rid of it.

Your personality is what others know about you. Your character is what your wife and God know about you. The husband is the builder. The wife is the watcher. Man called to be the leader but most of the time the women are more spiritual leaders. Women created out of men. Rib equals side - side equals for advice.

New Year

January 2019 is here. It's the 7th today. Christmas is over as far as decorations and such but never over for me since Jesus is meant to be all year long.

The Christmas party was a huge success as usual. 31 people including the kids. 25 that had been invited didn't come. That worked to our good though. I guess I need to keep track of the number of people I invite. Not sure if we will have one next year. I would much rather have a few couples over and have more time to visit and enjoy myself and each other.

We did go to Kim's for Christmas Eve. It was fun. They have all there new stuff and are enjoying it.

We saw Jodi and Andrew the following weekend. Andrew had some things including a coach that needed to be burned so we had a big fire. It was a beautiful day. They are so excited about there land. Andrew is ready to move now.

My girls have such talent. They are alike in so many ways. Both had there homes decorated very pretty. Thank You Father that they will come together and put that talent You gave them to use.

We even saw Jim and Cynthia's home decorated for Christmas.

So I guess all and all we had a busy December. I like that. I never got to plae bistro to see the decorations like I wanted to. Butch doesn't care to go there. Oh well.

Lots of changes to my home though. Mom moved in in June and out in November. She told me the reasons but I am well aware what the real reasons are. Its fine she has a nice apartment.

I redid the bedroom and the bathroom she was using. Like I said in my last blog I am liking my home a lot more. I have decided to buy some new things I need but since we will move again I am not going to be quick to get rid of old stuff which really isn't old I just don't like it with the dark woodwork.

As for 2019 I have asked my Father for some things. It will be interesting to watch them come.

Killing your Giant

David and Goliath is a Bible story must remember. It's a story that we can learn from for our everyday life.

Since I have been born again all these years I have many victories that I have believed the Lord for over the years. We must always remember our past victories when ever trusting God for a new victory cause it will help our faith.

That's why it was so easy for David to defeat Goliath. He remembered when God delivered him from the paw of the lion and the bear. So what was Goliath to him. He was just another victory.

We have to always remember to look to God and not man. God says victory every time. Even Saul tried to put his Armour on David but David used God's Armour. David didn't run at his enemy with a close mouth either. We have to speak the Word. You can read what David said in 1 Samuel 17:45-47.

Never lose heart get fearful or quit when the heat is on. Open your mouth and let the Word flow. The victory will be yours every time.

We are the Church

I just saw an article on Facebook. Why Christians stop going to church? Reasons like you don't get along with other Christians, my heart isn't in it anymore and I don't get anything out of the sermon.

I understand all three of those reason's. It's not that I don't get along with other Christians. When I am with other Christians that have the same Bible I have I wonder why they don't listen to the Word and take God's promises.

My heart isn't in it anymore. It's not that my heart isn't in it anymore my heart isn't into the sermon I am listening to. Most of the time it's to dry for me. I have noticed around here where I live the pastors are careful not to step on toes so they watch what they say. That is so wrong. God means for the Word to be preached the way He says. Step on toes. Expose the darkness. In the old testament God lived in the church buildings. In the new testament God lives within us. We are the church the building you attend is not. So many Christians don't know that.

Funny though I was just telling God this morning that I miss one of the church buildings I use to go to. Then I see this article. At this particular church we were involved in it and it was fun. My girls were younger and the music was just the best. A lot has changed now though at that church last time we visited.

One of the saddest changes going on in church buildings is the music. They have left the wonderful hymns behind. They sing great songs but the hymns should still be added to the list. The praise and worship is most important. At the last church we attended every Sunday was new songs and some hard to sing.

I listen to the Word on TV, the internet, and tapes. I listen all day long. We sometimes go to MN to living word church when Jesse Duplantis is there with Kenneth Copeland. Soon we will go for the whole week but right now we go on Friday and Saturday. It's a nice ride and fun.

I cut my baby Christian teeth on Kenneth and I thank You Father that you made it so I stumbled across and found him. He is Word of faith. He doesn't care who's toes he steps on. If it's in the Word he will preach it.

Hebrews 5:12 - You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God's word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. I have always desired more and more of the Word. I am a everyday Christian.

1 Corinthians 3:2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for solid food. In fact, you are still not ready.

I started with the milk of the Word but I graduated quickly to the meat of the Word. A lot of Christians don't desire the meat. They stay with the simple milk. They go to church on Sunday and Wednesday they volunteer and figure that is enough. Some do it because they still in the back of their mind think good works get them to heaven. They don't.

We are save by grace and yes it says faith without works is dead. Be sure your works are for the right reasons.

I learned about the words that I speak long ago. Thank You Jesus. God created the world with words. They are of great importance. It's exhausting trying to tell the same people all the time watch your words. God says we are ensnared by the words of our mouth. God says life and death are in the power of the tongue. But yet people open the mouth and puke words of death out. And the Bible is clear that if you are speaking death words your angels can't work for you. They only work when they hear the Word of God. Death words put the devil on notice.

I have changed a lot of things in my life by the positive words coming out of my mouth and believing what the WHOLE word of God says.

One of the worlds fearful sayings is "if worst gets to worst." You speak that all the time worst will get to worst. Another saying is that dessert "is to die for." Really you going to die for a dessert? Another one "it is what it is." No way. Somethings are the way they are like the time of the day. But think about it if your at a funeral are you going to say to the person that just lost a love one it is what it is?

I am a born again, spirit filled, tongue talking, devil chasing, believer in what ever God says christian. I am that whether I go to a church building or not. I will correct people with there words even if they are complete strangers. Without a doubt I know there are many people dead and they died because of the words they spoke all there life. How sad. You live today whatever you spoke yesterday.

I know I am doing it right because the Word of God says to judge people by there fruits. Stay away from negative people unless they are listening to you when you encourage them.

I know the Bible is the truth. Its the only faith in this world that has more then one author. All the other so called faith's have one man or one woman that wrote there bibles and say that you have to live by that book. Don't be deceived. Jesus is the only way. Don't leave this earth without Him.

Blessings......

Get the devil off your back

And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, that you shall break his yoke from your neck. (Genesis 27:40 NKJV)

Are you fed up with the enemy causing havoc in your life? Perhaps you are facing a situation that makes you want to shout enough is enough!  That’s good, because when you’ve finally had enough of the constant battling in your life, you will throw off the devil’s yoke.
I’ve learned that if things aren’t too bad, people have a tendency to tolerate or endure trouble, thinking surely the Lord understands what they are going through and He will eventually just do something to fix the problem. However, when they become desperate enough, then they will do whatever is necessary to free themselves from the situation.
God declared through the prophet Isaiah, “Shake yourself from the dust, arise … Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck” (Isaiah 52:2 NKJV). Not only has He told us to free ourselves, He’s also given us the means to do it through His Word.
The Word of God is not a defensive weapon; it is referred to as “the sword of the Spirit.” It is an attack weapon! The Word is always available for you to use against your adversary, but you have to be comfortable enough to pick it up and apply it.
You have to reach the point where you grow restless over what is happening to you. When you become uncomfortable enough, you will rise up and use your authority in Jesus to throw off the enemy’s yoke.
So declare today “enough is enough,” and then rise up in the name of Jesus and walk in the freedom that He has already provided for you.
Confession: I rise up in the authority that has been given to me by Jesus Christ and declare “Devil, in the name of Jesus I break your yoke from my neck right now! I proclaim that you have no dominion over me.” Jesus has already set me free, and I choose to walk in that freedom today.
